World Environment Day – June 5, 2023

Today, on 5/06/2023, on the occasion of World Environment Day, a huge program was organized in the Janmanch Auditorium of Municipal Corporation Saharanpur. The newly elected Municipal Corporation President Mayor Mr. Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Municipal Commissioner Ms. Ghazal Bhardwaj, City MLA Mr. Rajeev Gumber were present as chief guests in the program. City MLA Mr. Rajeev Gumber said that we have to protect the environment considering our own responsibility.Along with this, trees will also have to be protected. Assistant Municipal Commissioner Ashok Priya Gautam ji specially emphasized on RRR and said that we have to include RRR in our daily routine. He also appreciated the hanging lamp made from waste by Force NGO at the completion of RRR centre. On this occasion, the result of the Nukkad Natak competition organized last days was declared, in which Force NGO got a special place. ITC by Municipal Corporation Saharanpur on this occasion.All the staff and mohalla committees of Sunehara Kal Force NGO and Umag Sunehara Kal Seva Samiti were also felicitated. ITC Mission Sunhara Kal Force NGO Project Coordinator Md. Arsh was felicitated with a certificate and a memento as a cleanliness champion. In the end, the program ended with the speech of Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Mr. Yogi Adityanath and taking oath for environmental protection. On this occasion, MLA Mr. Rajeev Gumber, Mayor Ajay Kumar, Additional Municipal CommissionerYadav ji and Satendra Kumar Tiwari ji, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Mr. Ashokpriya Gautam ji and all the members of Municipal Corporation Saharanpur were present.
