Can Delhi Be Self Sufficient In Water?
Aiming for Self Sufficiency in Water Management.
Study done by FORCE to evaluate whether Delhi has the potential to become Self Sufficient in Water.
Water Balance Sheet of Delhi was prepared. It clearly shows that Delhi need not ask for any more water from other states now.
Similar studies were done on 4 more metropolitan cities of India – Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata to arrive at the same result.
