Kisan Mela JSK – November 14, 2023

In the Kisan Mela organized at Khet Bhawan on October 14, 2023, a stall was set up by Jal Shakti Kendra, Hushiarpur on the topic “Water Efficient Farming and Water Conservation”. Jal Shakti Kendra is a knowledge center which was established under Jal Shakti Abhiyaan implemented by the Ministry of Jal Shakti. Jal Shakti Kendra, Hushiarpur is managed by the Pandit Jagat Ram Memorial Force Trust. Many farmers from Hushiarpur district participated in this farmers fair. The chief guest of this event was Deputy Collector, Hushiarpur, Smt. Komal Mittal. During this, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Joint Director Agricultural Engineering Jasdish Singh, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Jaswant Rai was also present.
