World Environment Day – June 5, 2023

On the occasion of World Environment Day, a program was organized at village Sacholi, Nandgaon block, Mathura on June 5, 2023. Cabinet Minister’s nephew Mr. Shyam Sundar Chowdhary alias Sonu and ‘B.D.O.’ of Nandgaon block, Mr. Vijay Kumar Agarwal were present on the occassion.  The program was started by lighting of a  lamp by Mr. Agarwal.

A poster competition and flower pot painting competition was organized in which 40 people participated. Plantation in the area was also done. 6 people were awarded in poster making and pot painting competition.

A rally was also taken out by the women, men and children of the village to spread awareness about the World Environment Day. Messages about the importance of trees was also shared with the community.

More than 150 people attended the program.
